Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. Here's how.
How to Request Deletion
You can request account and data deletion through any of the following methods:
In the App
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account and follow the prompts. This is the fastest method.
Via Contact Form
Use our contact form and select "Account Deletion" as the subject.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, all of the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account profile (email, display name, preferences)
- All receipt images and extracted receipt data
- Shopping lists and purchase history
- Budgets, income entries, and expense records
- Household memberships and shared data associations
- Notification preferences and consent records
Timeline
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Once processed, the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Important: Cancel Your Subscription First
If you have an active paid subscription, you must cancel it separately through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store before or after requesting account deletion. Deleting your Wallet account does not automatically cancel your subscription billing through Apple or Google.
